Para borrachos

Mi prima María me invitó a unirme a Tuenti y, aunque no le veo mucha más utilidad que a Twitter, me sirve para dejarle mensajillos a mis primos de vez en cuando. De hecho, allí encontré que mi prima Irene tiene entre sus citas favoritas una de Frank Sinatra que me ha hecho mucha gracia: "I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day" Buscando quién era el autor de semejante juicio, di con una página llena de citas sobre el alcohol, que está repleta de perlas como "Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself, it is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver." (Lo de Jack Handey es altruismo y lo demás son tonterías) o "A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside, "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."", de Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin. Que estas frases sean divertidas no quita que mi prima sea una alcohólica de cuidado :P
